It's way too early in the morning to be watching something like that... *scrubs eyes*

Not trying to be flip or offensive or anything, honest question: Was George Lopez ever good? The only exposure I've had to him was the The George Lopez Show, which is so bad it makes me twitch. Was he a stand up comic before that or something?

Yeah, he was a stand up comic way before he got into TV deals. Mind you, I've only seen a couple of his specials on TV, but from what I saw, they were both hilarious and incredibly introspective on Hispanic culture as a whole.

So, to answer your question, yes and yes. Try catching one of his specials on Comedy Central. Either you'll be offended or you'll start quoting his lines ('Mijo, tell your granma I gots a pain in my chess and I can't breef!')

Oh, cool beans then. I'll keep my eye open for one of the specials. His TV show annoys the hell out of me because it does the 'it's funny because he's dumb! A grown man doesn't know how to pronounce this word (because he's dumb, not language barriers)! He mixes up this word for that word!'. Dumb =/////= funny in my book; it's a sad thing, not something to laugh at.

101 Dalmations and Air Bud had a child *shudder* Disney doesn't seem to remember how to make animated "classics" anymore, this computer animated stuff is trash. The closest thing they've made recently would be enchanted since that has some animation lol!

I don't even think my little sister would want to see this D:
