PSA: Backup your LJ!
Nov. 17th, 2008 08:46 amTomorrow all the LJ servers are moving halfway across the country. I'm sure they'll do backups and whatever, but either way it's a good idea to make a backup on your own today. My journal is more than eight years old and I darned well don't want to lose it now!
I personally use ljArchive, which saves not only your posts but all your comments as well. Plus it's searchable, which really comes in handy!
Edit: Let's how that this isn't how the servers will be moved! ;)

Date: 2008-11-17 05:42 pm (UTC)Oh, and there is no personal state income tax in WA, my car insurance is less than half of what it was in LA, utility costs are low, and no wildfires!
If you can handle cold winters, WA is a very nice place to live.
