I had a coupon for a free McDonald's oatmeal, so I figured I'd try it out. This is easily the worst oatmeal I've eaten in my life. Paste would taste better and would have a better texture.
I think there was a miscommunication at the drive through, the lady might have been saying to wait and I drove off. There's no brown sugar in it, and no packet of it to use myself (not sure if there's supposed to be, but I do know there's somehow a brown sugar option).
I had high hopes when I opened the container. It's full of fruit. Green and red apple bits, lots of raisins, and what must be dried cranberries. It smelled sort of okay, mostly like nothing though.
Tasting it... ugh. The texture is AWFUL. I used to eat oatmeal on a regular basis, so it's not just that I'm unfamiliar with it. This stuff is seriously not worth eating.
260 calories, 18 grams of sugar. I'm not sure how it tastes so bad for that many calories and sugar, but it tastes like something you'd use to seal a hole in your wall. Into the trash it goes! I've been having such bad luck with breakfast lately...
