Okay, okay, I was willing to laugh at this whole 'world ends on Saturday' crap, until a news story today. One of the insane people who actually believes that is having his pets put to sleep today. Because, you know, the world is ending tomorrow.

At least the guy says "that he intends to wait until the earthquakes hit Denver before he starts killing his pets" so maybe, maybe he actually means that.

This guy has serious mental problems, someone should be looking into getting him some help.

Initial stupid behind, if he were actually serious about his religion he'd know damn well that animals don't have souls and can't get into the place the supposed rapture tomorrow is going to take him.

Of course, he probably doesn't know that, because he believes that something not mundane is going to happen tomorrow.

Wasn't there an episode of The Simpsons that did something like Homer predicted when the Rapture was happening, got everyone up onto a mountain, was wrong, and it turned out he forgot to carry a number or something and then no one believed him, so when he climbed back up the mountain, he was the only person saved.

That's how I imagine it will turn out.
