These egg cartons are both cute as heck as well as Earth-friendly!

Apparently they're made by molding hay in a hot press. I had no idea you could even mold hay!

And on to the problem...

I ran to the store on my lunch break, and stopped my car in the middle of the parking lot to let a man and his young son walk by. The kid was SO cute. I found myself smiling and thinking I maybe wouldn't mind having one. WAIT WAIT STOP HALT BACK THAT TRAIN UP I've never wanted kids (not since I was 5 or 6 and didn't know any better). I've never had a desire to spend time with kids. I really really don't want one of my own... so where in the world are these feelings coming from?

If it's my biological clock, it's running more than a little late. (Apparently biological clocks are really a thing -- I googled it!)

That little boy may have been the cutest thing I ever saw. I couldn't even compare a puppy or a kitten to him (which is just wrong; everyone knows that nothing is cuter than a kitten!).

Hmm, so if we put eggs into a straw hat, we can skip a step. It'd be a lot less cute though!

And I'll be careful for sure!

It's an astonishing thing, this body taking over. You mind knows what's going on, and it is helpless. Fortunately my partner was not. But I repeatedly warned him that it was up to him to make sure the unwanted thing did not take place, because if it did, we were keeping the consequences because the body was determined that we were.

This was not even remotely similar to anything I ever experienced, before or since. Not even like helpless lust.

Love, C.

It's good to have a plan like that -- and a partner willing to do his part! It's awfully new and unlike anything else to me, too.

Thanks for sharing! <3

It's spooky scary.

But then, it was interesting too.

It explained a whole passel of sudden marriages among women I knew, all of them around the same age, to men I could not figure out why they married, got preggers immediately, and within a year after the baby was born, were divorced.

Love, C.

You definitely don't want to, that's for sure.

Not necessarily wise moves on their parts.

But they had that baby, and that's all that seemed to matter for a while.

The baby, however, gets older, and doesn't necessarily see things the way they did.

Some messy situations -- not every time, let me haste to say. But some of them were extremely so, and those kids, particularly if they were boys, began to hate their moms. Not every one, let me again haste to say. But there weren't 100% happy endings to this.

Love, C.
