Grump. The sodastream machine was guaranteed to be delivered today. The package of 12 sample flavors made it, so I went online to track the status of the machine.

Today is Monday the 9th...

The delivery date was guaranteed to be today.
The shipper claims to have left it at my door tomorrow.
At least grumping at Amazon got me another $15 off it. $80 -$25 -$15 (plus free shipping). So basically I'm down to half price, assuming it ever arrives. (Oh wait, it was delivered tomorrow...)

Videos! This is an odd collection of them. Usually when I take them from other sources, I take one from here and one from there. All three of these come from one person/post! Full and total credit goes to adam_0oo for all three of these.

I really want to try a Sodastream, but I'll have to buy it sometime when I'm somewhere I can physically buy it, because no one will ship it to me.

Also - I frequently get packages that are noted as 'delivered' when Fed-Ex drops them off at the Post Office in Anchorage. (UPS marks them delivered when they drop them off at the freight airline, and say that Ryan signed for delivery. When one package was two weeks late, this fall, and I asked UPS about this, they insisted that since Ryan had signed for it, I must have it, and I should go talk to this Ryan person. Ryan Air is the name of the cargo airline.)

Seems like they're selling them in more and more stores (everything from Best Buy to Kohls), so hopefully you'll be able to find it next time you're down this way. One thing to keep in mind: You have to get the CO2 cartridge recharged -- maybe you could buy a couple so you'll always have a new one on hand?
