I do not know what drives me to continue to watch this show. Every week I ask myself the same thing, and yet the next week I watch it again.

But I swear to god, this week's episode was the absolute worst. I actually have the episode paused so I can write up this rant.

Where in the world is the logic in the whole Paul/Jesus character storyline? They left him TIED UP on the road. They sped off in a truck... and the guy got himself untied, caught up much later on foot, and somehow jumped onto the top of the speeding truck? What in the world were the writers thinking? Did not one of the actors say 'Hey, this doesn't really make sense'?

Of course that wasn't the only lack of logic. Somehow Rick and Daryl caught up to the same truck on foot.

And OF COURSE the truck rolled off into the lake.

Sigh.

Pretend there's an apostrophe in the spoiler cut link. LJ code doesn't like them.

I've never seen it. I imagine it was better in the early days?

I'd say so, but it's been a long time since the early days. It's in the sixth season now, I believe.

I stopped watching after S03E01, which was a good episode, but I felt like it was grating on me so bad that it wasn't gonna get much better than the face-peeling bit. Zombie soap opera, with not too many zombies.
Though I guess I'll catch up eventually, if only for the satisfaction of watching Lori's demise.

Stopping on a high note seems like it would have been a good idea -- you're left with good memories of the series that way.

I gave the TV show a go because I enjoyed the first volumes of the comics. Never really felt the TV show, but kept with it for the first season or so. Then the Telltale game came out and blew both the comic and the TV show right out of the water. IT IS SO GOOD. 8D;;

I still intend to try it one day! I hear nothing but good things about that game.
