BSG, redux?
Mar. 27th, 2009 01:34 pmAs much as I didn't like the ending, I keep getting an itch to rewatch BSG. I hadn't discovered Bear McCreary's blog (BSG's composer) until I was almost done with the series, so it'd be nice to rewatch and read each blog entry as I watched the ep it went with.
But... as much as I enjoyed BSG, rewatching it feels more pointless than rewatching another series would be. I love looking for clues, foreshadowing, things I should have picked up the first time watching but didn't because I hadn't known what was coming next. However, since the writers were making the story up as they went along, so much of that foreshadowing won't be there. Such a loss...
So I'll probably rewatch it at some point, though I do wish the writers had planned everything out ahead of time. If nothing else, perhaps the ending would have been more to my liking. ;)

On a totally unrelated note: SO VERY TIRED. Blah. I got to bed an hour late last night, then the neighbors kept me up until 1:30 or so AM, just a couple hours before I had to get up. Blah I say. BLAH! zzzz
