Wow, season five really ended well! Once the whole baby storyline ended everything got back on track.

The last ep was so sad/great/horrible! Cutting back and forth between the two events worked so well! (Vague to avoid spoilers.) *sniffles*

I hope Merlin is going to be as enjoyable as this was. :D

In other news, I'm enjoying Clash of Kings (Song of Ice and Fire) a whole lot less than the first book, though I'm not sure if it's the book or me (RP has me really distracted lately). We're getting whole chapters on characters who never had chapters before, and they seem long and really boring compared to the chapters of the previous character-chapters.

In other other news, RP is eeeee! WoW is a hard medium for RP, but still I'm having lots of fun.

I'm actually getting kind of tired of House. I watched all five seasons straight through (over a matter of weeks). I'm looking forward to trying new stuff. Merlin is probably next up, then hopefully I can track down Hetalia and check that out.

I've not read fanfic in ages! I keep saying I want to find House (or some other theme) fic, but I have no clue where to find good stuff anymore.

RP is chugging along. Been spending my nights on WoW RP, which has its good and bad parts. Luckily the good generally outweighs the bad, but my tolerance for bad is so low, sometimes it doesn't seem that way. My new RP character (Keen, a rogue warrior) has gotten back into most of the circles my old one (Haken, DK) had been in, so I'm happy to be RPing with them again.

Keen's so much fun to play for multiple reasons! It's really handy when a character has IC goals. ("What? You won't hire me because you can't trust me? Okay, I'm going to get you to trust me enough to hire me, not because I want the job, but because you think you won't!") Not to mention, the whole amusement of him pretending to be a warrior. This would be all well and good if a warrior 80 hadn't decided to take him under his wing: Bought him a sword (Ack! So big!), takes him out training with it (Keen: *whines* Can't I use my dagger?), etc. This is the same guy who caught Keen robbing some chick, so it's not like he's exactly fooled or anything. :D I think he's just enjoying torturing poor Keen!

Heeheehee. RP rocks!

Edit: *ponders icons* I wonder if it's time to change my default one? Corsair Thistle (made by ani_mama as well!) is kind of out of date now... it still feels like me, but it's not... This one is very cute...

On Sunday I did more WoW PvP. Four hours, on top of the three hours on Saturday. Overdose! Unfortunately it wasn't much fun at all, but mostly because the other people were some of the worst MMO folks I've ever encountered.

Can someone explain how, on an MMO, that people can argue who is a nerd? (Though I suppose I could be thankful that they were saying nerd instead of gay...)

Person #1: You're a nerd! Your armor sucks!
Person #2: No! You're a nerd! All you do is instances and XP, you know nothing about PvP!

Hours of that, on top of hours of endless people berating and belittling everyone else on the raid group chat channel. How many times did I hear "Name, you just cost us the whole entire battle by doing X!" Where X could be something as minor as fighting on a road or killing an NPC or lord knows what else.

On top of that, seven hours of all the same battlefield and we had one single win. Yes, I supposedly have fun either way, but endless losing makes it hard to see the point in trying anymore.

FFXI: It's hard to believe I quit just over a month ago. Feels like forever ago. I'm missing the stupidest things, too. Know those stairs in Ordelle's Caves that are so impossible to run up? Why in the world would I be missing doing that? Bah.

TV: WAHHHH! I thought there were six seasons of House out now, but it's only five! Which means I'm almost caught up! I'm early in the season (on ep 6 now), but this seems like the weakest season thus far. Or maybe it's just that Thirteen sucks enough to ruin the whole season.

I've been trying to figure out what to try next, so I grabbed Merlin's first season to check that out.

I've had a headache for two days now, too. Stupid sinuses, stop being hurting!

* Wandering my random LJ image sites, I followed a link to a personal LJ, then for some reason I don't recall, to the person's user info page. Scanning the person's comms, I thought I saw "house_md", so I clicked on it. Turned out it was actually doll_house_md. Oddness! But I checked it out anyway. So happy I did!

People set up 'scenes' (stories) using these dolls! The best one from the comm: House and Wilson go to the zoo! Heeheehee.

I have to say, I very much enjoyed this rewriting of the Tritter arc. Yay knife!

I'm not really into Harry Potter much anymore, but I think the movie is coming out tomorrow. So, the star of this post is this really, really hot HP image. Gah, that's almost enough to draw me back in! I've never been a real Draco fan, but *drool* he looks SO good there! And Snape (of course!)! And the sexy wild insane woman whose name I forget (Black's sister! Bela-someoneorother)! I love the lack of robes. Of course it works on Snape, but the guy on the far right? Love his coat! And Draco's suit? Mmmmmmm. And her dress/coat thing? Gah, wow! The whole image just so totally works.

House: I finished season three! The second half of the season was SOOOO good! Gah, that darned Tritter arc had nearly made me forget how good it could be! So many outstanding eps! I was sad to see how short season four is. Must have been the writer's strike, I guess. I wish I could risk spoilers because House/Wilson is just the sweetest, hottest thing ever! I NEED FICS! Eeeee!

It reminds me a lot of this photo, that I posted way back during the election. Obama getting ready for a debate. I had to do a search of 'Obama' in my LJ and read through a lot of posts from back then to find it. I don't think a day goes by where I don't smile and feel happy (and relieved!) that he won. Every news story about other countries starting to like us again, about his wife being beloved by so many, about the things he's fixed and is in the process of doing. It just makes me so happy. :)

Oddly, I miss the pre-election months, when so many of us were hoping so strongly for this to happen, but afraid it wouldn't. I always love LJ, but I loved it especially much back then. So many posts about it! Shared images, stories, pictures... Such exciting times!

Just what is Ronald McDonald doing? I had thought he was shot, someone else said he was throwing up. (Image is not as graphic as that makes it sound! Totally work safe.)

NWS NWS NWS! Who would believe that Tom and Jerry porn could be sort of hot? NWS in any way, shape, or form! ...Tom sure is pretty though!

Lastly, I'm not sure if I should put some kind of a warning on this or not. It's perfectly work safe. Some people are disturbed by this, but I think it's kind of cute. Somehow, it seems to get cuter the longer you look at it. (Don't ask me what it is, I don't know.)

House: I almost forgot! I actually, finally got through the Tritter arc. I had no idea one of my favorite eps was right after it! (The girl who got raped. One Day, One Room I think the ep was called.) Anyway, I see what some folks said about the arc having good points (it was interesting to see how he handled his addiction, yes). I think the problem with the Tritter arc was the cop himself. I didn't mind his effect he had on House and the staff, I didn't mind the idea behind the story, it's Tritter himself I didn't like. What a smug, horrible, annoying character. (Though the slasher in me did sort of wonder if House/Tritter would work, or more likely Wilson/Tritter...)

I'm dying to catch up so I can read fanfiction! Eeee!

Usually I try to name files well, so I can find them months later. I so totally failed at that today. We have woman.jpg, woman2.jpg, man.jpg, and boy.jpg! And a BK.jpg, but we'll ignore that one for now.

First! A video that has been amusing me all night. I've watched it five or six times now: We didn't start the flame war. Made based on comments for a site, but nearly all of them are common to all message boards (there were just two out of a whole list that I didn't recognized).

boy.jpg is probably the most boring link of the night, but I wanted to include it so I could find it later. He may be CGI, but he's hot! The site had a bunch of cool CGI'ed people on it, wish I had bookmarked it.

I'm slowly catching up on House. Just started season three! I'm a little worried though. Now and then I catch a current season (five?) ep, and House seems to have a whole different team (and, from what little I've seen of them, I hate them all... both? Thirteen and the little mousy guy). Plus there's there's a whole big arc that I've seen on TV (and disliked) before I started catching up (a cop? fed? someone who is trying to get House arrested? license taken away? for being a druggie because House was mean to him in an exam). So I'm a little worried how much "good" is left ahead and if I'll stop loving the series before I catch up.

Did the new team seem to grow on fans?
